Powerful 500ws Portable 12v Flash with 55w Modelling Lamp and 60cm Softbox

This high quality location flash is ideal for assignments where mains power is unavailable or you need the creative control of a powerful hand held-flash. Its high power rating (500ws) and large softbox makes it a great alternative to camera mounted flashes. It is infinity adjustable from full to 1/8th power and has a fast recycle time. Triggering is via pcel, sync cable or manually. The 55w modelling lamp uses a standard halogen bulb and can be controlled independently allowing you to save battery life when not in use.

Portable Power

The power attachment connects to the top of a standard sealed lead acid battery (not included but available here). It includes two connectors allowing the flash to be charged via a car cigarette lighter socket or 240v AC adapter. An LED display is used to indicate battery charge. It is all protected by a strong padded bag with a shoulder strap. On a full charge the flash is capable of firing 300 times.

Large Softbox

The large 60cm X 60cm softbox is lightweight and easy to assemble. Double defused it casts a beautifully even light. It connects to the flash using a universal speed ring for fast secure attachment.

Strong Carry Case

The lockable carry case is lightweight and sturdy. Internal padding and partitioning ensures that the flash head and battery unit are protected.

Other features include a threaded base that allow it to be attached to a stand and a replaceable fuse to protect against shorts.
